Short Bio-data/Profile:
Sohail Khan is a R&D Scholar at the Security Engineering Research Group (SERG) in the Institute of Management Sciences (IM|Sciences) Pakistan. He has graduated from the Department of Computing, School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, National University of Sciences & Technology, Pakistan, in April 2010 with MS in Software Engineering.
His research interests include information security and identity management systems. His recent research focuses on identity management system(s) in cloud computing along with secure and trusted mobile platforms, applications, and services. He has several publications related to his research domain in conferences of international repute. He can be reached at sohail(dot)khan(at)imsciences(dot)edu(dot)pk.
Job Description:
  • Idea generation, proposal writing and defense
  • Design and implementation of security infrastructure for open source mobile platforms
  • Presentation of research findings in the form of research publications
  • Conducting seminars and workshops on state-of-the-art tools and technologies related to the project (remote attestation, trusted computing, mandatory access control)
  • Training new comers into the project regarding research and the related tools
