AoA everybody…

Hope you all are fine and enjoying your good health with the grace of ALLMIGHTY… Shaz and everybody should know that i am working on the integration of the trusted computing and shibboleth protocol in broader sense… specifically on its application in the e-government scenarios… where attributes are exchanged without knowing the trusted state of the platform… i hav studeid the shibboleth architecture and i am having options how can i integrate both the platform validation in shibboleth attribute exchange…

About the BCS students: i have already given introductory documents about the areas we are working in, to the students so that they study and if they are intrested they can join us… but so far i hav seen one partial positive response from one student…. so i am trying to get the intrested students rather having students by force…

So currently me and shaz are working on the tc implementations i.e TPM Simulator, IMA, TRouSer etc… i am supposed to give a presentation to shaz today on TPM Simulator so m preparing that :) … see u later…

TC (Not Trusted Computing)

I will be there inshAllah tomorow sirjee. Fell asleep in confusion today. I would prefer 7:30am because a break after prayers is equivalent to falling asleep!

How come attributes are exchanged if the platform is not trusted. There must be other determinants of trust like organisation or users. How do you manage trust in such a situation?

What has TC to do in such a study where trusted platform is not presesnt and why are you looking forward to IMA?

Mr Adnan Usaf also needs a programmer of C. He asked me if I would like to join him for a short study and implementation of an algorithm in softer softer handoff which is a technique used in mobile technology. I gently refused due to the critical stage of my study and thesis.
You can tell the other BSc students to try him out. Maybe they like his subject. The objective is to create a good educational/research enviroment. This will benefit everyone.

By the way, trying to learn mobile technology isn’t a bad option too. I have heard about a “not disclosed” project porting SELinux to mobile phones and similar devices. Any ways, may be, we can experiment these things, when i am there inshAllah.
